Hey, I’m Ximo Romero

I’m 27 years old and originally from Valencia, Spain. I studied web development and worked for a couple of companies, but I’ve always been naturally curious with a constant itch to learn and explore what lies beyond.

The travel bug bit me, so I took the leap and moved to New Zealand for a year. After that stage, I relocated to Australia, where I’ve now been based for nearly two years. Throughout this journey, I’ve had the chance to explore more than 20 countries.

I created this blog to give free rein to my thoughts, document my journeys exactly as they happen —with zero filters or fake postures— and share practical lessons I wish I knew before leaving home, saving you headaches and, of course, some good money too.
